I have founded the Association named “Pietro Di Biasi Amici del Cuore” aiming at keeping Pietro Di Biasi’s memory alive. He was my brother: a brilliant, highly experienced cardiosurgeon. The purpose is the one of promoting activities within the medical-scientific and cultural field, so as to follow up his intellectual curiosity and his high moral and professional values, by making the best and most up-to-date results coming from scientific research available to the ones who take care of our health: MDs, managers, politicians and to common people as a whole. Health is indeed our most precious asset and it’s only by means of knowledge that public healthcare can be used at its best and improve everybody’s health.
